As we make our way through the harsher winter months, we all need something comforting to warm us up and keep us going while those New Year’s resolutions are still fresh. Wahaca is stepping in with a new winter menu designed to feel nourishing, satisfying and still full of flavour.

The new menu focuses on feel good ingredients that deliver warmth and energy without losing the joy of eating out. One of the highlights is the Slow Cooked Pork Pozole, a light yet deeply warming bowl made with bone broth, tender pork and white corn. It is finished with fresh red onion, coriander, lime and salsa, inspired by the comforting flavours found at food stalls across Oaxaca. There is also the option to add a three cheese quesadilla on the side, which works perfectly as a dipping companion.
For anyone opting for plant based dishes this January, the Caramelised Veg and Macadamia Tacos are well worth a try. Soft corn tortillas are filled with seasonal roasted vegetables and a rich macadamia mole, creating a bold, satisfying dish that proves comfort food does not need to be heavy.

If Dry January is on the cards, Wahaca has also created three alcohol free cocktails that are designed to feel just as indulgent as the real thing. Ideal for catching up with friends without feeling like you are missing out.
The new winter warmer specials are available now at Wahaca, offering a welcome bit of comfort during the coldest part of the year.
