After a series of pop-up events with the organisers of the street Food Warehouse, which invited a host of different tasty food vendors to the independent cafe bar, prompted a change at Time.
They will continue to operate as cafe by day, but become a gourmet burger restaurant and cocktail bar by night; Time & Beef, which is to open in Canton early March, plans to revolutionise the way we eat and drink in Cardiff.
 Customers will be in full control of the menu, using a tick-box system to create and personalise their meat, veggie or vegan-friendly burgers, making them their very own.
Manager of Time & Beef Stephen Chambers said:
“Stage one was to develop an independent Cardiff coffee shop where people could come and enjoy homemade cakes & artisan coffees in a trendy relaxed environment. Time & Beef is the second stage in my development opening past 6pm until midnight as a burger and cocktail restaurant.
“Customers will be able to create their own burgers using our 4 step process, choosing everything from bun to sauces! They then personalise their burger with our ‘Name your burger’ concept, which is our creative way to connect with our customers and have a bit of fun. 
Diners will also be able to compliment and wash down their creations with a wide range of craft cocktails, mocktails & locally brewed boutique ales & beers.
Time & Beef promises to set itself apart from other burger joints in the city, offering not only a unique ‘create your own’ menu concept for meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans but also carefully selected exclusive menu items to compliment, inspired by the popular street food culture.
Expect locally sourced beef and buns, a promise to never freeze or pre-cook burgers and always freshly made to order.
The café bar, that currently exists as ‘Time’ on Cowbridge Road East, Canton, Cardiff CF11 9AH will close its doors on 27th February and anticipates to open afresh on 3rd March as a refurbished revolving dining experience seating 50-80 people from day to night.
