The magical Christmas Festival is Back with a new family Production
This festive season, the Cardiff Christmas Festival is back at Sophia Gardens, and it’s unveiling a brand-new, enchanting show: The Snow Queen Musical. Performed in the stunning 550-seat Fortuna Spiegeltent, this heartwarming musical promises a magical experience for all ages.
Based on the beloved fairytale, this new adaptation comes from the creative team behind the hit show Santa’s Wish. Cardiff’s own Live Under the Stars has produced an original, upbeat musical filled with catchy tunes, lovable characters, puppetry, and even a 7ft dancing polar bear named Bryn!
Bryn is more than just a character; he’s the official mascot of the Cardiff Christmas Festival. Recently, he’s been spotted spreading festive cheer across Cardiff and the Vale, visiting Christmas lights displays and local businesses. Fans young and old love snapping photos with Bryn as he brings the spirit of Christmas to life.
Set in the picturesque Sophia Gardens, The Snow Queen adds to Cardiff’s vibrant Christmas lineup, which includes Winter Wonderland, Christmas at Bute Park, and the new Light of Winter Trail. Perfect for families, this festive treat guarantees plenty of laughter and unforgettable moments.
