ndie rock powerhouse The Enemy are making their highly anticipated return to Cardiff this year, bringing their 2025 UK tour to the Great Hall on 16th October. Known for their raw energy, anthemic choruses, and no-nonsense attitude, the Coventry trio are ready to shake up one of the city’s most exciting live music venues.
Since reforming in 2022, Tom Clarke, Andy Hopkins, and Liam Watts have wasted no time in reminding fans why they were one of the defining bands of the mid-2000s indie scene. With a sold-out reunion tour, major festival slots at TRNSMT, Isle of Wight, and Godiva Festival, and the epic ‘Indie Til I Die’ tour alongside The Subways and The Holloways, their comeback has been nothing short of electric.
Now, with whispers of a fifth studio album on the horizon, the band is hitting the road again—this time with plans to test out new material alongside their classic hits. Fans can expect to hear huge singalongs from their chart-topping debut ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’, including ‘Away From Here’ and ‘Had Enough’, plus anthems from their other platinum and gold-certified records.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, frontman Tom Clarke shared, “We’ve been working long days in the studio recording new material, so we’re really excited to get out on the road again. The plan is to experiment with some of the new tunes and see how the crowds react—it’ll help guide the tracklisting on the record.”
With special guests yet to be announced and a high-energy, nostalgia-fuelled setlist guaranteed, The Enemy’s Cardiff date is shaping up to be one of the must-see gigs of the year.
