Founder of Rosa’s Thai is hosting a one off supper club in Cardiff

Rosa’s Thai, the popular restaurant group founded by Thai chef Saiphin Moore, turns 15 this month and to celebrate, she’s coming to Cardiff to host an exclusive birthday supper club.

Saiphin Moore and her husband turned a greasy-spoon café in Spitalfields into a successful Thai restaurant empire and to celebrate she will be hosting a celebratory super club in her newly refurbished Cardiff restaurant.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”30548″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]

The one-off event will take place on Monday 17th July at Rosa’s Thai Cardiff, where Saiphin will take to the wok to cook up a birthday feast. The menu will offer guests a trip down memory lane – bringing back favourite recipes from Rosa’s history. Dishes will include:

A staple from Saiphin’s first restaurant: Fried soft shell crab, with a salad of grapefruit, fresh Thai herbs and lettuce, topped with a creamy Sriracha dressing

The ultimate Thai street food: Thai fish cakes – spiced with red curry paste and kaffir lime leaves, served with a sweet chilli dip

Pandan chicken with spicy Sriracha dip, combining two of Thailand’s most celebrated ingredients

Crispy duck salad, topped with sticky tamarind sauce for a sweet-savoury punch

Thai churros, a distinctly Thai take on the Spanish classic

With vegetarian alternatives also available. The three course menu is priced at £25 per person and includes a Boozy Iced Tea on arrival.

Rosa’s Thai opened in Cardiff in March 2022, bringing Saiphin’s time-honoured recipes to Wales for the first time. After a short closure for refurbishment, Rosa’s Thai Cardiff is excited to welcome guests back to see the restaurant’s new look.
