Grab your big parkas, pull up your leg warmers, and fasten your woolly hats because it’s time to wrap up warm and head to the rooftop of the Coffi Co overlooking Penarth pier. Formally the Fig Tree, Coffi Co is settling in for a cold winter with a rooftop bar.
In the spirit of 2020, Coffi Co has launched a socially distanced Christmas bar, in the gorgeous spot overlooking the channel. The venue has long been a favourite for rooftop events, attracting Lost Lands Cinema and multiple mini food festivals, and now it will offer a unique Christmas experience to the city.
The rooftop space has already undergone a festive makeover in preparation and the team there has been working hard to put together a weather-protected, socially distanced, festive seating area with spectacular views over the water. On offer will be Christmas booze, Christmas food, Christmas hot chocolate… you get the idea! It is an all-out Christmas grotto for you to enjoy with the family and friends.
And, of course, no night will be complete in December if you do not hear Fairy Tale of New York at least five times, so the Christmas tunes will be turned up throughout the day and night.
Plus, on Fridays and Saturdays for only £30 per head, you can enjoy a three-course festival, with a complimentary bottle of champagne for a table of four. Let us be honest, we have all had a tough year, so do you really need to think about this one? It is an absolute no brainer if you are looking to de-stress in the build-up to Christmas this year.
We absolutely cannot wait to rediscover this incredible venue this Christmas. Why not take this opportunity and escape the Christmas chaos of the city centre? Grab three friends and sit sipping bubbly and mulled wine with a few Christmas songs to seal the deal.
