As I walked into the theater, I was greeted by a sea of fishnet stockings, gold top hats, and the occasional corset. It was clear that I was in for a wild ride. Despite never having seen the film or show before, I knew there was a dedicated following that took dressing up to a whole new level. Little did I know, I was about to be swept up in an interactive experience full of laughter and cheekiness!
The cast whisked us away on a magical journey filled with rock, horror, humor, and a healthy dose of horniness. Stephen Webb’s portrayal of the sweet transvestite character Frank-N-Furter was so convincing, I couldn’t help but fall in love. And who could resist a good boogie to the Time Warp?
Act 1 had us in stitches with its adult-rated antics, while Act 2 surprised us with powerful ballads that left us speechless. The show was a perfect blend of clever comedy and unforgettable characters that kept me hooked from start to finish.
I’m thrilled to have joined this fan base and I’m already counting down the days until it returns to the New Theatre in 2026. Who knew a night of fishnets and top hats could be so entertaining?
