100 places are up for grabs for the Cardiff Half marathon.
The platform, which provides charity running places across global endurance events, has teamed up with GoFundMe to offer lucky charity fundraisers, looking to run this famous UK half marathon, a £5 donation to their cause.
Charity runners who wish to take part can enter by going to https://www.runwithrealbuzz.com/events/cardiff-half-marathon/ and reserving their place. From there, a fundraising page should be set up with GoFundMe to redeem the £5 donation.
Kirsty Angove, Chief Marketing Officer for realbuzz, said: “We know how popular the Cardiff Half is and particularly for charity runners looking to support the causes closest to their hearts – and that’s why we decided to offer these exclusive places in collaboration with GoFundMe to help connect more fundraisers with this superb event.
At realbuzz our mission is to make charity running more accessible, worldwide, and support runners to make the miles mean more. We recommend anyone looking to take part to register fast as places won’t last long!”
Dina Rickman, Senior Director at GoFundMe said: “GoFundMe is all about helping people help each other. We see so many people looking to fundraise for charity through running events daily. That’s why we’re delighted to partner with realbuzz to help charity fundraisers, who go the extra mile to help their favourite causes.”

First founded in 2003, the Cardiff Half Marathon is one of the biggest events in Europe and a leading road race. Around 25,000 runners get involved with the event, organised by Run 4 Wales. The route takes in iconic landmarks including Cardiff Bay, the Civic Centre and Cardiff Castle.
Realbuzz can offer exclusive places for the much-anticipated 1 October event as the official charity programme partner for the SuperHalfs Series.
The SuperHalfs series is the ultimate half marathon challenge – run five events in 36 months to claim the SuperMedal. The races take place across Lisbon, Prague, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia. All of the SuperHalfs events are World Athletics’ Elite Road Race Labels or are run on World Athletics (IAAF) World Championship courses.
