Cardiff Bay is about to get a whole lot sweeter as Cinnamore, a brand-new cinnamon bun and coffee spot, prepares to open its doors in Mermaid Quay in the coming weeks.

Cinnamore is all about one thing – freshly baked cinnamon buns. Each bun will be made by hand, daily, with a variety of flavours and toppings like Lotus Biscoff , Dubai Chocolate and original along with some specials to keep things exciting for returning customers. Pair them with a freshly brewed coffee and you’ve got the perfect cheeky treat by the water.
The idea for Cinnamore came from its owner, who moved to Cardiff from Ukraine: “I’ve always loved baking — back home it was mostly for family and friends, something that brought me joy. When I moved here, my partner encouraged me and gave me the confidence to open my own place, and that’s how Cinnamore was born.”
The team promises a warm welcoming space, similar to the bakeries and cake shops in London where people can enjoy something homemade and full of heart. And while there’s no exact opening date just yet, fans of cinnamon buns won’t have long to wait — the launch is expected within the next few weeks.
