Lush Cardiff Launch Shiny New Makeover With FREE Gift Bags

After eight years at its Queen Street home, Lush Cardiff is getting a fresh new look — and they’re throwing a weekend-long celebration to mark the occasion. The newly refurbished Lush Spa Cardiff reopens its doors on Thursday 24th July, with exclusive giveaways, interactive workshops, and a full schedule of feel-good fun.

To kick things off, the first 50 customers through the doors each morning from Thursday to Sunday will receive a free goodie bag packed with cult Lush favourites. And every customer on opening day will get a free Butterball bath bomb with any purchase — no minimum spend required.

There’ll be more surprises in-store throughout the weekend, including:

  • Pass the Parcel games every hour from 12pm with extra prizes
  • treasure map challenge to explore the new space
  • Welsh-exclusive daffodil bath bomb workshops
  • An opening night party with spa tours, refreshments, and another exclusive goodie bag (booking via Eventbrite)

The store now includes a dedicated wall of discontinued Lush favourites, bringing back nostalgia-inducing products like the Vanilla Fountain bath bomb and The Comforter shower gel. There’s also a brand new makeup countershowcasing the vegan, cruelty-free Firework range, plus skincare, haircare and fragrance consultations.

Upstairs, the Lush Spa offers 12 immersive treatments, along with new relaxing spaces and post-treatment discovery areas. Customers can book a free spa tour over the weekend to learn more.

Elizabeth Mills, Store Manager at Lush Cardiff, said:

“We wanted to create a funfair feel — think giant pass the parcel, daffodil workshops, pamper zones and goody bags! We’re showing off what we do best: tailored customer experiences, ethical products, and some good old Lush magic.”

Lush Cardiff will also be embracing Welsh culture with signage in Welsh, daffodil-themed bubble-blowing, and a playlist full of homegrown tunes. The store reopens on Thursday 24th July, with activities running until Sunday 27th July.
