Jack Russell’s Bar Opens in Whitchurch

Prepare yourself Cardiff, the Irish have arrived! Jack Russell’s Irish Bar is finally and they’re ready to bring the party to the city.

After months of huge redevelopment, the popular site in Whitchurch will be ready for a grand unveiling just in time for Christmas. It will be the first Jack Russell’s bar to launch in the Cardiff, with the next to begin renovations in a derelict site on the unofficial music street of city in January (Womanby Street, duh!). That means the whole city will soon be doing the Irish jig right into the New Year!

After its launch this week, Jack Russell’s will only be serving drinks until they’re ready in January to bring the gourmet food they’re renowned for. This will include; Himalayan salt aged beef, traditional seafood pancakes, ox cheek on scallops, and proper decent Irish breakfasts. Since those are also traditional, they’ll be served with both black and white pudding, lavely! In the meantime, you can enjoy an eclectic mix of premium brands and time-honoured Irish classics. These will be surrounded by specialist Irish whiskey, gin and other spirits that will complement an exclusive cocktail menu.

One of the key attractions of the grand opening will be the large outdoor area spread across two floors. It will have a full heating system so the temperature will never dip below 21 degrees all year round, making it the perfect place for your socials of all seasons! Not to mention you’ll be completely immersed in Irish culture, and surrounded by furniture which has been sourced from across Ireland. Some of which dates back to 1800! The whole place, right down to the smell of the bar and the sound of the beer pumps will ooze that authentic Irish hospitality.

One thing is for certain, the Irish party scene is about to hit Cardiff. And I don’t know about you but we’re ready for it!
