Cardiff pub-goers are in for a tasty surprise this Bank Holiday weekend, as Pot Noodle brings its brand-new Pub Noodleexperience to the Four Elms in Roath for one hour only.

On Saturday 24th May, between 3pm and 4pm, visitors to the much-loved local pub will be treated to free Pot Noodles ‘on tap’, as part of a nationwide pop-up campaign by the iconic snack brand. With no catch, no strings attached, and no purchase necessary, it’s the perfect Bank Holiday pick-me-up for anyone feeling that mid-afternoon slump.

The giveaway includes a choice of two classic flavours – Chicken & Mushroom or Original Curry – freshly served up to hungry punters enjoying the long weekend. Alongside the free snacks, Pot Noodle fans will also be able to grab exclusive branded merch, including reusable pint glasses, bucket hats, and stickers, while stocks last.

The campaign follows Pot Noodle sales data showing a significant spike in purchases around Bank Holiday weekends, as Brits search for quick, satisfying snacks while out and about.

“Pub Noodle is the perfect mid-afternoon pick-me-up to those enjoying a day out with friends this Bank Holiday – after all, nothing fills a hole like a Pot Noodle,” said Madeleine Boulton, Senior Brand Manager at Pot Noodle. “We know how much people love a local boozer, so bringing together a pint and a Pot Noodle just made sense.”

The Four Elms, a staple of the Cardiff pub scene, is the only venue in the city chosen for this quirky and delicious one-hour pop-up. So whether you’re a student, a local, or just fancy something free and flavourful, head down this Saturday and grab a pot while they last.
