Families are in for a spook-tacular day out this half term as Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay gets a supernatural makeover for Ghostbusters Day on Tuesday 28 October, 11am–4pm.
Visitors will be able to meet three Ghostbusters characters against a full-size backdrop, with plenty of photo opportunities. A Janine Melnitz lookalike will also be on hand to capture unlimited photos, with free printed copies for families to take away.
The free event doesn’t stop there — little ghouls and ghostbusters can enjoy a green slime-making workshop, glitter tattoos with spooky designs, and balloon modelling with a Halloween twist.
Mark Nott, Centre Manager at Mermaid Quay, said:
“We’re really excited to bring Ghostbusters Day to Cardiff Bay this October half term. It promises to be a fantastic day out for families, with lots of interactive activities and free entertainment for children of all ages. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for some ghost-busting fun!”
The event is completely free and no booking is required — just turn up and join the fun.
