Enter the Dragon: Cardiff’s Legendary Club Night Celebrates 25 Years of Dance with Trance Legend Ferry Corsten Plus Guests

Next year, Enter the Dragon (ETD), one of Cardiff’s most legendary club nights, celebrates its 25th anniversary. Since its launch in 2000, ETD has been the beating heart of Cardiff’s underground dance music scene, delivering unforgettable nights and creating a vibrant community around its shared love for music.

ETD began at Vision 2k Nightclub with a debut night featuring DJ legend Paul Oakenfold, quickly becoming more than just a club night—it was a movement. Over the years, ETD has hosted global stars like Mauro Picotto, Lisa Lashes, Todd Terry, Judge Jules, and monthly resident John 00 Fleming, earning its place as a cornerstone of Cardiff nightlife.

25 Years of Memories
ETD’s legacy goes beyond the music. It’s been a space where friendships have formed, love stories have blossomed, and countless memories have been created on the dancefloor. It’s a cultural institution that has united people through shared joy and connection, leaving an indelible mark on Cardiff’s social fabric.

The 25th Anniversary Celebration
ETD is hosting Part 1 of its celebrations on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at District Nightclub to mark this milestone. Trance legend Ferry Corsten, known for iconic tracks like Out of the Blue and Gouryella, will headline with a 3-hour set. Jimpy, Sean Furlong and Aubrey Fry will provide the warm-up duties. The hard dance room will feature Anne Savage and local legends. Tickets start at £22.50 until November 30th

ETD organisers Andy & Jimpy told us.
“Following our last sell-out event with Giuseppe Ottaviani, we are thrilled to welcome Ferry Corsten, a pioneer of trance music, to our decks. His music shaped the genre, and his performance will be unforgettable.”
