Get ready for tiny legs and big personalities as the popular Pup-up Cafe returns to Cardiff this weekend, bringing with it a wagging parade of dozens of adorable Dachshunds. The event, taking place at Brewhouse and Kitchen near Sophia Gardens, marks the cafe’s second visit to the city this year – and it’s set to be even bigger than before.
The Pup-up Cafe has become a hit across the UK, offering dog owners and fans the chance to mingle with dozens of these adorable pups in one place. Each session will feature up to 50 dachshunds, creating the perfect opportunity for both dogs and humans to make paw-fect- Pals
“It’s basically heaven for sausage dog lovers,” says Marcus Ackford, who started Pup-up Cafe back in 2018. “The sight of so many dachshunds in one room is something that brings joy to everyone who attends.”
Visitors can expect plenty of photo opportunities with props provided, and a professional photographer will be on hand to capture those Instagram-worthy moments. For the four-legged guests, there will be unlimited ‘puppuccinos’ and treats to enjoy, plus toys and ball pits to keep them entertained throughout the session.
Human visitors won’t be left out either, with local dog businesses setting up shop at the event. From trendy accessories to tasty treats, you’ll have plenty of chances to spoil your pooch or pick up a gift for the dog lover in your life.
