Charlotte Church to host silent disco on Barry beach

Dance the night away under a full moon on the beach

Following the success of trial event last month, Welsh-singer songwriter Charlotte Church is set to host a magical full moon ceremony and silent disco on Barry Beach, combining her love for music and the mystical energy of the full moon. The event, held on Thursday, 17th October from 6:30 – 8pm, will celebrate the Hunter’s Moon, which will also be a Supermoon.

This unique gathering isn’t just about dancing under the moonlight; it’s all for a great cause. The event is raising funds for the Forest School Awen, a free-to-attend learning community based in South Wales. As the only free provision of its kind in the country, Forest School Awen aims to stay accessible to young people from all walks of life, and this fundraiser is key to keeping it that way.

Full Moon Ceremony

Attendees can expect a powerful full moon ceremony led by Charlotte herself, followed by silent disco on the seafront under the light of the Supermoon. It’s a chance to connect with nature, celebrate under the stars, and support an incredible local cause.

Tickets for this unique experience, as well as for a second event on Friday, 15th November, can be purchased at ticketsource.co.uk/the-awen-project. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this magical night!
