This will be the first chip Shop at Cardiff Bay waterfront in over 10 years
Cardiff Bay is about to welcome a fresh taste of tradition with the arrival of Charlie’s, a brand-new chip shop opening in Mermaid Quay this February. Set to fill the gap left since Harry Ramsden’s closed its doors back in 2013, Charlie’s brings the much-loved British staple of fish and chips back to the heart of the city.
The new eatery will offer a classic menu featuring traditional fish and chips, golden-battered sausages, and hearty pies, ensuring something for everyone who craves that seaside comfort food experience, crazy to think this is the only fish and chip shop at the waterfront location for over 10 years
Charlie’s is moving into the former site of Meating Point, which relocated to Penarth last year. Positioned in the bustling Mermaid Quay, this new addition promises to be a hit with locals and visitors alike.
