Welsh Hearts / Calonnau Cymru are a local, young charity, set up in 2013 to prevent and manage heart disease in Wales. The Charity has been focussing on placing Defibrillators in communities and schools throughout Wales.
To –Date Welsh Hearts have trained over 22,000 people in CPR and have placed over 650 defibrillators across communities in Wales. The aim of this is to drastically improve the chances of those that have cardiac arrests outside of hospital where the first few minutes are absolutely crucial in saving their lives.
All funds raised at the concert will go towards providing defibrillators to local communities and schools, free CPR training sessions to the public and will help to fund heart-screening sessions throughout Wales.
