The Bigmoose Coffee Co. may have closed its city-centre doors, but its mission to make mental health support more accessible is stronger than ever. This year, the team behind the inspiring charity is calling on 6,069 people to take part in their Ultra Fun Run — one runner for every life lost to suicide in England and Wales in 2023.

Taking place at Bute Park on 13th April 2025, the Ultra Fun Run invites participants of all abilities to lace up their trainers and join the cause. Whether you’re aiming for a 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon, or even an ultra-marathon, there’s a route for everyone and they’re all £15. The looped course offers a flexible, inclusive experience — perfect for families, beginners, and seasoned runners alike.
The event, which proudly supports the She Races movement, is committed to gender equality, offering inclusive facilities, stocked with sanitary products, and operating a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. They also allow women who become pregnant before the race to defer their entry to a future event.
Last year’s event saw 1,000 runners raise an impressive £50,000 for Bigmoose’s vital mental health services, which provide fast and accessible therapy for those in need. This year’s goal is even bigger — a show of strength and solidarity to help stop the rising number of lives lost to suicide.

Every participant will receive a Bigmoose spotty tee as part of their entry, and children under 18 are welcome with an accompanying adult.
price: £15 to enter, which includes a bigmoose spotty tee, medal and gift!
