Cardiff is getting a huge inflatable Aqua Park this summer

The largest Aqua park in Wales is set to make a big splash this summer

Cardiff and waterparks aren’t exactly a match made in heaven, In fact, just a glance outside the window will tell you grey skies and outdoor water sports don’t go hand in hand.

HOWEVER…

When Cardiffians discover the big yellow ball in the sky is making a reappearance, what’s the first thing we do?

We head OUTSIDE.

A massive inflatable water park is heading to  Cardiff Bay for summer, just in time for the weeks of sunshine ( fingers crossed )

Launching on Saturday 29 June, Aqua Park Cardiff will measure more than 8000 square metres and feature a staggering 72 obstacles, making it the largest aqua park in Wales.

The park will run right through the summer daily until September, this awesome adventure course will provide an action-packed experience for all, from a fun family day out or sporty alternative to the office party, or simply to bring friends together. Plus, with a wide range of inflatable climbing walls, trampolines, balance bars, rockers, rollers and jumps and slides, there’s sure to be plenty of potential for epic fails and total wipeouts.

Created and designed by sports activity management specialists Aqua Park Group Limited, Aqua Park Cardiff has been developed in close consultation with Cardiff City Council.

As an active attraction, visitors to Aqua Park Cardiff need to be ready for the physical challenge and must be aged six and over, 1.2m tall and able to swim 25 metres unaided in a buoyancy vest to take part. Buoyancy vests are provided, and wetsuits are included in the ticket price.

Tickets for the park are priced at £20 for a 50-minute session and can be booked on the Aqua Park Cardiff website.
