The Grand Hotel is an important part of local Welsh history. Built in 1886, the hotel ceased to operate in the late 90s but they now run a tasty bar and kitchen. Proudly independent and still possessing original features, the unique venue stays true to their traditional roots yet they offer modern twists such as their new and exclusive bottomless brunch.

Guests can choose from 90-minutes of free-flowing Prosecco for £25, or cocktails for £35 to accompany a choice of three dishes from the small plates menu. There is a great selection created using local produce including: nachos, chicken wings, scallops, and a homemade scotch egg, to name but a few. The menu also features several vegetarian and vegan options such as salads, falafel and cauliflower bites. Brunch is served from 12pm til late Wednesday to Sunday!

Also on offer is the Grand Prosecco Sharing Platter for two, featuring a selection of Antipasti, fresh warm breads, dipping oils and sundried tomatoes for £22.50pp. There is an option to upgrade to cocktails for an additional £10pp, or alternatively a bucket of beers or cider. Diners can indulge Thursday to Saturday between 12pm and 5pm but be warned, booking is essential 24 hours in advance.

Botanist new brunch menu

The Botanist

The award-winning bar and restaurant renowned for their botanical cocktails and foliage interiors have recently launched a huge new brunch menu. Diners can build their own brunch board, choosing five items from a choice of: bakery, protein, hearty, a side dish and a sweet treat for £15.95pp. The menu also features several plant-based alternatives for vegan brunch lovers.

Additionally, you can make it a boozy brunch by adding the bottomless drinks option for £15.95 where guests can choose from a selection of spritz cocktails, prosecco or a house pint. Brunch service hours are daily between 9am-11.30am.

The chic café come restaurant known for their all-day brunch menu offer a bottomless brunch every weekend between 11.30am-5pm. When selecting any main or brunch dish, you can enjoy bottomless prosecco for £16.50! Customers can expect 90 minutes of continuous refills to accompany their food whether it be a healthier option such as avocado on toast or an indulgent delight like syrup and bacon pancakes.

If pancakes are your thing, Bill’s also offer unlimited buttermilk pancakes every afternoon from 3pm-5pm for just £6.50! Bottomless bubbles are available on Saturday and Sunday or customers can add unlimited hot drinks for £3.50 too!

Gareth Bale’s new underground golf bar offers two mini-golf courses, as well as a premium bar and independent kitchen Dirty Birdie. Par 59 is perfect for those who like an experience on a night out, but they also cater to the early bird. In the name of healthy competition, Par 59 have joined the ranks in offering a bottomless brunch every Saturday 12pm-2pm, launching on Saturday 6th August.

For £30pp, guests can expect two hours of bottomless drinks, choosing from: Prosecco, Aperol Spritz or Cosmopolitans, draught options Amstel or Inch’s cider. Soft drink alternatives are also available. The food options consist of: bottomless wings, fried chicken, halloumi and loaded fries. Not only that, included in the price is a round of mini golf, of course!

The glamorous cocktail bar is infamous for its bottomless brunches served in their iconic birdcages; their current seasonal offering is a summer martini brunch! Dirty Martini caters to many dietary requirements and thus orders should be placed in advance for either a two-person standard, vegetarian/vegan or gluten free birdcage.

The delicious food on offer includes meat or plant-based sliders, spring rolls, tortilla strips and crispy arancini. As for the booze, there are bottomless limited-edition summer cocktails such as a passionfruit and vanilla martini or a melon spritz. (Martinis, G&Ts, Prosecco and beer are also available).

The late-night sassy cocktail bar is new on the scene and its pink and floral interiors are the perfect setting for a ladies’ brunch! However, Tonight Josephine’s bottomless brunch is a little bit different… Their drag divas host themed brunches such as Mamma Mia, Spice Up Your Brunch and the original boudoir event – Moulin Rouge.

Themed brunches are a recurring event held on Saturdays and Sundays, and ranging from 12pm to 6pm time slots. For anyone on the lookout for a venue that puts on a show, Tonight Josephine offers fun, competition, over the top performances and most importantly girl-spirit.

Another new kid on the block, the award-winning The Cocktail Club set up home in Cardiff last month. Presenting three bars over three floors and an exciting drinks menu, the energetic venue has a similarly charismatic themed brunch.
Their 00’s bottomless brunch features the best throwback anthems hosted by an M.C., plus games, prizes and show-stopping performances.

Pizza is served up for food and expect a welcome cocktail followed by, you guessed it, bottomless bubbles and cocktails in the shape of Pornstar Martinis and Brambles. Two-hours of bottomless booze starts at 1pm prompt on a Saturday and is priced at £49.

If you’re more into lunch than breakfast, you can upgrade for an extra £3 and select a burger or wrap instead!

However, if none of their brunch options float your boat then main menu upgrades incur an additional £4.30.

Branding themselves ‘the best student pub in Cardiff’, The Woodville also claim to have the best bottomless brunch too! Situated in Cathays, this buzzing pub is a student’s dream as their brunch is just £25 per person for two hours and is available seven days a week.

Brunch dishes are available until 12pm and include: classic breakfasts, loaded crumpets and even a vegan mex-melt quesadilla. For upgrades, they have a range of burgers as well as bottomless wings for an extra £5 per person.

Now for the booze… an extensive choice of bottomless drinks whether it be Prosecco, cocktails, or draught pints, and for up to £10 more per person, there are also selected spirit mixers, premium cocktails and beer to choose from.

Last but not least, this bistro is located away from the centre but promises a fantastic dining experience. They pride themselves on serving delicious food in a beautiful setting and their bottomless brunch menu is as unique as it is appealing. That is because they offer a two-course prosecco brunch (rose or white) which is perfect for those who like both sweet and savoury breakfasts.

At £32.95 per person, it’s perhaps a little pricier than other options but bear in mind you get a breakfast main and dessert! Eggs benedict, brioche bagels and a Spanish breakfast are among the savoury dishes, with pancakes, waffles, brownies, ice cream and fruit on offer for the second course. Many of The Brook Bistro’s dishes are suitable for vegetarians or gluten-free diets.

The prosecco will be flowing for 90-minute brunches from Tuesday through to Sunday with reservations taken between 10am and 4pm.
