Cardiff Bay is set to host a series of free wellbeing events this May, as Mermaid Quay marks Mental Health Awareness Week with a focus on relaxation and community.
Taking place across 13th and 14th May, the waterfront destination will be offering a mix of free yoga and mini massage sessions, giving visitors the chance to unwind by the water.

On Wednesday 13th May, local studio Vibes Yoga will be hosting a free one-hour yoga session on the boardwalk, overlooking the bay. Known for its friendly and inclusive atmosphere, Vibes will lead a relaxed session designed to boost your mood and help you switch off. The class runs from 10am to 11am, and spaces can be booked in advance via their website.
Then on Thursday 14th May, visitors can head to Tacoma Square between 12pm and 2pm for free mini massagesfrom Danielle at Dakota Therapies. There’s no need to book, just turn up and take a moment to recharge.
With Mental Health Awareness Week focusing on community, these open-air sessions offer a simple way to slow down, get involved and take a break in one of Cardiff’s most scenic spots.
