Van Gogh Like You’ve Never Seen Before – In VR at Wales Millennium Centre

This summer, Immerse yourself into the pallet of Van Gogh at the Wales Millennium Centre.

Step inside the mind of one of the world’s most iconic artists with the Welsh premiere of Monsieur Vincent – a breathtaking virtual reality experience running from 21 July to 1 September 2025 as part of the Bocs

Through stunning 360° visuals, a haunting Liszt-Wagner score and immersive storytelling, this intimate VR journey reimagines Vincent van Gogh’s world like never before. Set in the French village of Auvers-sur-Oise, where Van Gogh spent his final days, audiences are guided by one of his last muses through vivid recreations of works like Café in ArlesThe Starry Night, and Portrait of Van Gogh.

Narrated by acclaimed French actress Rebecca MarderMonsieur Vincent draws inspiration from the artist’s final colour palette, bringing emotional depth and intensity to every brushstroke. It’s a powerful and deeply personal encounter with Van Gogh’s art and legacy.

But the immersive experience doesn’t end there. This summer, Wales Millennium Centre will also host:

  • Van Gogh: Blooming Threads of Joy and Hope, a vibrant textile installation by Welsh-Persian artist Naseem Syed, reinterpreting Van Gogh’s work through community-made fabric art
  • Armadilo, a curated retail space supporting Welsh designers and makers
  • Ffrwnais, serving up fresh meals, bakes and specialty coffee daily

With world-class art, hands-on creativity, and local food and shopping all under one roof, Wales Millennium Centre is the place to be this summer.

Tickets to the VR cost £6 and runs for 20 minutes and is running daily from now until 1st September at Weston Studio
