Cardiff’s underground ‘speakeasy is expanding with the launch of Bootlegger who open their doors this weekend. Nestled on Womanby street Bootlegger is the latest independent live music venue to join the already thriving collection of Cardiff’s music quarter.
As the name, would suggest the bar takes its inspiration from the prohibition era, offering a wide selection of drinks from locally produced brews to their own perfectly crafted cocktails.
They have a spectacular night of entertainment lined up for you all, including LIVE music and DJs guaranteed to get you drinking and dancing.
The first of their LIVE music acts come from the Newport based collective known as Talking Bird Music, who have entertained crowds all over Wales with their diverse catalogue of songs.
You can also look forward to a LIVE performance from the sublime Darren Eeden working alongside the Slim Pickens, bringing their distinctive bluegrass banjo sound.
You will also get to hear from their new Cardiff DJ Mr Richard ‘Pepper’ Cordle. He has cemented himself as a permanent fixture in the Welsh scene since the 1980’s and will be DJing every weekend after their launch
